Decision-making, avoiding risk and recognizing legal implications for adolescents is the focus of this active workshop. Participants will experience unique, student centered teaching strategies to address relationship and sexuality education aligned with both the National Health & Sexuality Standards. Demonstrated activities are adaptable, make connections to the real world, and develop skills for pregnancy/abuse prevention, healthy relationships and legal/ethical issues such as sexting, teen parenting and prenatal care for secondary or teacher-prep programs.
