Developing a good question to address is essential in any scientific research. To help the field of kinesiology develop critical research questions, a new section called “Top 10 Research Questions” has been developed in Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport (RQES). So far, 100 “hot” research questions covering a variety of topics have been generated, including 10 related to physical activity and bone health. This session will present these questions, followed by a commentary from the perspective of the new consensus statement on peak bone mass by the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) and the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) and how school PE can help promote bone health.
