This session is intended to share initial findings of a research project focusing on the state of Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) across Canada. Information will be provided regarding the variety of theoretical and practical program orientations representative at numerous post-secondary institutions in Canada. The session promises to share highlights regarding the struggles and successes experienced within PETE programs and engage participants in discussions regarding unique and best practices.
