The session will foster dialogue to connect advocacy efforts between AAHPERD and higher education programs across the United States. Specifically, this session will address ways in which PETE programs can: advocate on behalf of AAHPERD’s Let’s Move in School; address state policy changes to enhance quality physical education; and direct advocacy efforts at the departmental level that can help navigate through difficult economic times.
