Speakers: Thomas W. Barber, Salem City Schools, Salem, VA; and Grant Smythers, Salem High School, Salem, VA
The role of a quality physical education program is to help students develop health-related fitness, physical competence, cognitive understanding and positive attitudes toward physical activity. Data assessment can fuel dynamic adjustment and change in each of the component areas of a high quality physical education program. This session focuses on how a regular review of other types of data, in addition to student fitness measurements, can further enhance QPE and teacher performance.
