The diverse and dynamic climate of middle school physical education can make it challenging for teachers to teach personal and social responsibility. This session will address the barriers to successful implementation of Hellison’s TPSR model in the PE setting. Participants will learn strategies for overcoming these barriers and integrating opportunities for middle school students to develop and apply responsible personal and social behavior in order to meet National Standard 4.
