A brief overview of the Cooperative Learning (CL) Model will be provided first. Following the overview, the minute-to-win-it theme using the CL Model will be described with a sample 15-lesson unit using various CL Model task structures. The activity-based portion of the session will allow participants to experience various 1-minute challenges along with surprise team challenges created by students, University of Northern Iowa physical education pre-service teachers, and others who’ve contributed to the challenges.
