Yoga instruction is common in many physical education programs. This activity-based session provides participants with effective practices for developing physical fitness through yoga. Participants will also learn how to effectively plan and develop beginning and intermediate yoga curriculum, teach quality lessons and assess student learning. Samples of instructional materials, activities and music selections will be discussed.
