Developing effective teaching strategies to address how the adolescent brain learns, creates connections and retains health skills is the focus of this workshop. The functioning of the teenage brain is addressed through the demonstration of student-centered teaching strategies in this interactive and practical session. Participants will experience a variety of unique health strategies linked to current research in the adolescent brain addressing a wide variety of learning styles and intelligences.
