Come join this interactive, thought-provoking session that examines why LGBT students stay in the closet, the resulting harm, and/or advantages of both staying in or coming out. Activities will explore prejudice and discrimination, highlight the roles LGBT persons have played throughout history, and provide strategies for developing an inclusive classroom.
