When schools decide to offer multiple inclusive physical activity opportunities beyond physical education, PE teachers see their roles differently. In this session, two teachers from a successful urban K-8 CSPAP discuss strategies for promoting the value of physical education and physical activity to principals and classroom teachers; establishing student, parent and community networks; collaborating to find necessary resources; and helping teachers and others deliver activity programs based at school. Audience questions and problems will be addressed.
