Drs. Hicks and Lounsbery discuss the importance of advocacy and policy to physical education and the broader profession. Dr. Hicks stresses the importance of systematic advocacy while Dr. Lounsbery focuses on school physical activity policy. Both presenters urge the profession to "claim" advocacy and policy as academic areas of emphases.
