Recent research reveals a lack of continuity in physical education teacher education (PETE) programs across the nation regarding standards of rigor, coursework, and requirements. The purpose of this session is to provide a forum for doctoral PETE students to discuss salient issues facing the profession of teacher education. The session will provide an opportunity for networking and development of personal and professional relationships among future professionals within PETE.
