Massachusetts has a new teacher evaluation system requiring teachers to provide "multiple measures of student learning" and "artifacts of professional practice" to demonstrate that they are effective teachers. The impact on teacher education programs is already being felt. In response, Springfield College faculty worked together with physical educators from partner schools to prepare for the impact of this new evaluation system. Highs and lows of this process, together with other details, will be discussed.
