Motion analysis software can be used to improve instruction and assess movement-based learning in physical activity courses. With software such as Dartfish or an iPad, instructors can use slow-motion replay of student performance during class, split-screen comparison of a pre and post skills test, or e-mail video clips to students for self-analysis. Attendees will understand how to use motion analysis software or an iPad coupled with guided questions as a means of enhancing motor learning.
