This three-phase presentation is intended for PETE faculty interested in the globalization of PE. In phase I, research on health-related curricula in the U.S. will be reviewed and health issues confronting China will be presented. In Phase II, a year-long project where SPARK was implemented in two elementary schools in Shanghai, China is described. Phase III will be a brainstorming session on integrating health-optimizing PE into curricula in the U.S. and other countries.
