The purpose of this session is to share the results of research on a unique way of teaching PETE students to work with secondary students. Discussion will include the outcomes that emerged from using a field-based, student-centered inquiry as a curriculum model for pre-service physical educators as well as the benefits and challenges to pre-service teachers learning how to meet the physical activity needs of today’s diverse youth.
