A Canadian public elementary school has created a comprehensive school-wide health and physical activity program that embraces technology and includes a partnership with a local university. You will learn about; Alberta’s Ever-Active Schools program, integration of wellness committees, wellness weeks, the 12 days of wellness, active living months, family activity evenings, lunch hour activity bursts, before-school FIT zone, drum fit, the Spirit Medallion system, SPARK programming, and the collaborative partnership with Mount Royal University.
