NASPE/Meeting the Needs of Today’s K-12 Students and Schools

The lack of suitable student teaching placement sites and the geographic spread can often limit the effectiveness of the student teaching internship. To address these challenges, physical education student teachers were assigned to paired placements (two student teachers shared one cooperating teacher and field site). This session reports data gathered across four years to examine the effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages, and the level of satisfaction of members of the triad involved with these paired placements.
