220 Women’s Health and Culture: Challenges and Opportunities

In this session, researchers will report the findings of a study that compared body image between African American college females and other female college students. Participants will also be introduced to the studies that reported the reproductive decisions of women with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, the lack of cultural sensitivity of the U.S. healthcare system in delivery reproductive care to immigrant women, and the exercise patterns and intentions of pregnant women.
