Most health education classrooms in the United States contain widely diverse students. With escalating diversity in language and ability, teachers are faced with increasing challenges. One important challenge is how to select and create learning activities and teaching strategies designed to support the learning and achievement of all students. This session will demonstrate several student-engaging language and vocabulary teaching strategies and content learning activities that will integrate and support diverse language and ability domains.
