The Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT) was first published in 2007 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH). CDC has revised the HECAT to improve is utility and usefulness. School health education participants will learn what the HECAT is and what it can do to improve the quality of health education for students.
