Provision of physical activities for students with severe disabilities is often a struggle for general and adapted physical educators. IDEA 2004 mandates educators provide equal opportunities for students with disabilities as those without. This session will present simple solutions for aligning activities with the general PE curriculum. Modifications to established curriculum, innovative activities, and creative adapted equipment will be presented.
