378 Utilizing the Coordinated School Health Model to Implement Wellness Policy

In order for health to become a priority within a school district, it requires a leader and a team of core individuals from the school staff, parents and community. Using the Coordinated School Health Eight Part Model is the key to success. The purpose of this presentation is to provide attendees with the tools needed to facilitate a School Wellness Policy Summit. Participants will receive action planning worksheets to utilize for local implementation.
