Effective management of asthma at school helps encourage a positive and healthy learning environment. Asthma management training with school teachers, staff, and children provides support in an asthmatic emergency, and encourages students to participate in all school activities. This session will provide attendees information regarding a three-tier comprehensive asthma training program for K-5th graders and teachers which has shown effectiveness in managing asthma at school and how to respond appropriately to asthma triggers and attacks.
