In a multi-cultural society, it is important to appreciate our own roots as well those of others. Since pioneer times, Scandinavian immigrants have shared their culture in America. Learn Scandinavian folk dances to be included in K-12 classes as a warm-up or as a dance unit. Standards for both Dance & PE,plus music and props are addressed.Enjoy these cultural traditions through the movements, rhythms, and formations of Scandinavian folk dance.
