National and state attention exists regarding the assessment of teacher training program effectiveness and candidate accountability. The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) recently adopted new accreditation practices for California State University (CSU) institutions to report candidate assessment and program effectiveness. This presentation will examine the assessment plans of three different CSU Adapted Physical Education Credential Programs to manage the process and make informed programmatic decisions based on candidate competence and program effectiveness data.
