Schools can provide opportunities for integrated physical activities within the classroom environment, and can help students develop the knowledge and skills necessary for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Health educators can encourage significant student improvements across multiple health topics with a skills-based approach. Health education with integration of activity and skills into the curriculum, and appropriate sex education strategies will be discussed, using examples from current research, the Michigan Model, and several interactive websites.
