Teachers face many challenges as they strive to provide quality instruction in physical education classes as well as other physical activity settings. This task is complicated by a multitude of factors including limited instructional time, budgetary concerns, and a lack of clarity concerning the role of school physical education in promoting children’s physical activity. The focus of this presentation will be to explore ways that teachers can structure the learning environment to facilitate student learning.
