The number of female coaches and athletic administrators has drastically been reduced since the enactment of Title IX. Presenters will compare the number of head coaches, assistant coaches, and athletic directors within Alliance districts and across individual states, provide data about the number of athletic directors, associate directors, and assistant directors who deal directly with football or men’s basketball, and share results about, and insights into, the limited presence of female leaders in intercollegiate athletics.
