Two exciting modern jazz sessions by two exciting presenters perform back-to-back. Learn how choreographer Daniel Nagrin used kinetic American jazz to explore character in movement. Rehearse excerpts from his "learning dances" (Lindy, Blues, Charleston), that reflect American cultural changes. Continue this exploration with jazz and modern dance to enhance creativity and compositional skills that will challenge the performer. Tools in this entire session can be used for students of all ages and skill levels.
