It has been common practice for teachers/coaches to teach soccer skills through repetitive drill-like activities with little to no skill transfer to the game of soccer. The purpose of this session is to guide attendees through the Teaching Games for Understanding Model for teaching/coaching affective student soccer skill acquisition.
