JUMP/Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart

Participants will learn a Jump Band Instructional Sequence - learning the various “dances”, strategies for teaching, developing a choreographing sequence, and designing the assessment piece. We may also discuss how to implement this sequence into the overall jumping instructional sequence including: Tinikling, Rope Jumping, Jump Rope Choreographing, Performance, and Assessments. Come away with creative lessons to encourage students to develop and design their own activities and engaging assessment activities that are easily graded.
