520 Community Recreational Programs for Children with Physical Disabilities in America

This session will provide physical educators with an overview of current adaptive recreational programs available to school children throughout the United States. The presentation will include descriptions, program offerings, and contact information for each program. Also included is advice on how to get appropriate youth (and their parents) active in these programs, as well as providing college undergraduates with volunteer and field experience.
