CEU OPPORTUNITY: There are a number of decisions that must be considered when designing a practice environment: Should we modify the skill(s)? How often should variations of the skill(s) be presented? What level of difficulty would present the greatest opportunity for learning? Utilizing Gentile's Taxonomy as a framework, attendees will participate in a variety of real-world theory-to-practice applications of designing the optimal practice environment. In addition, current trends in assessment (e.g., authentic assessment) will be discussed.
