Adventure education is a revised mechanism to promote lifelong activity.  The utilization of these activities can promote teamwork, decision making, self-efficacy and self-reliance; while increasing levels of activity for those who may or may not have an interest in organized sport programs. Participants will experience a sequence of experiential activities from framing the challenge using a portable ropes course and the powerful debrief afterwards. The session will focus on developing after school adventure programs, as well as bringing adventure into the classroom.  Prepare to laugh, think, share and have your comfort zone stretched.
