The International Council for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport, and Dance (ICHPER•SD) is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious international umbrella organizations of its kind. Since 2003, it has held an ICHPER•SD Forum in conjunction with the SHAPE America (formerly AAHPERD) National Convention & Expo. The 2015 ICHPER•SD Forum will focus on our worldwide mission with reports and discussions on selected regions among the Council’s eight (8) geographical regions. The morning session (9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) will highlight the programs of the ICHPER•SD as a whole and then focus on the North American, Caribbean and Oceania regions. It will include the report of the editor of the ICHPER•SD Journal of Research. The afternoon session (1:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.) will consist of roundtable presentations and discussions on research (1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.) and roundtable topical presentations and discussions (2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.). The roundtables on research, topical presentations and discussions will be divided into four (4) groups: Table 1 will be on health; Table 2 on physical education and sport; Table 3 on recreation; and Table 4 on dance. All participants are encouraged to join roundtable presentations and discussions in their fields of expertise and interest.
