Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, the 'father of aerobics,' and a panel of experts will discuss effective school policies for improving students’ overall health. This session will highlight existing health policy initiatives, specifically those regarding physical activity and physical fitness, and identify needed changes for future health improvements. Participants will learn about current policies and initiatives at the national, state, and school levels as well as strategies for implementing health-related policies that build healthier schools.
