This session provides data on the assessment and grading practices of K-12 physical education (PE) teachers within the state of Ohio. Despite the recent adoption of a state reporting system for K-12 PE, preliminary data collected provides evidence that K-12 physical education teachers do not assess according to state and national standards. Implications and future steps will also be discussed in this presentation.
