Sport contexts are ideal for teaching life-skills that go beyond wins and losses. These life-skills do not develop automatically, however, they must be taught intentionally. A powerful skill-set that is a natural fit to learn in sport contexts is resilience. This session will overview the components and benefits of resilience and how it can be taught in sport contexts to promote athlete wellness, benefitting them on and off the field of play.
