This session will share how a co-teaching model helped teacher candidates become more competent and confident during their final clinical student teaching experience. Steps to launch a Co-Teaching model at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania utilizing Heck and Bacharach (2010) St. Cloud State University training model will be discussed. Specific co-teaching strategies will also be presented on how cooperating teachers and teacher candidates collaborate to plan, organize, deliver and assess instruction to enhance P-12 learning.
