This session will focus on how the life skill of self-regulatory behaviors encouraged in the early childhood educational setting for school success can be enhanced through physical education. A variety of limited movement management techniques for use in a PreK-Grade 2 physical education setting will be presented to educate and reinforce self-regulatory behaviors in young children, and to help physical education teachers in maintaining an effective developmentally appropriate learning environment. Audience participation will be encouraged.
