Through the How Tomorrow Moves Initiative, Action for Healthy Kids worked with 200 schools to get kids moving at least 30 minutes/day while at school. Despite typical barriers, schools worked to significantly increase student physical activity by implementing innovative physical activity strategies. Initiatives also engaged family and community volunteers through the national Every Kid Healthy Week and Get in the Action Volunteer Center. While discovering implementation themes, 95% of schools met the 30 minutes per day goal.
