Illinois is the only state in the country that requires daily physical education (PE) for students grades K-12, but many Chicago Public Schools (CPS) struggle to provide PE more than once per week. Learn about 30+20+10. The CPS innovative new strategy to integrate 60 minutes of physical activity during the K-8 school day through scheduling 30 minutes of daily PE, 20 minutes of daily recess and 10 minutes of daily classroom physical activity.
