| COPPPE Luncheon |
| COPPPE invites all physical education teacher educators to come together to celebrate their profession. Luncheon will be followed by a recognition ceremony to honor all college and university physical education programs that were approved in 2003 according to the NASPE Initial or Advanced national PETE standards. After the certificates are presented, the luncheon address will be given by Dr. Larry Locke, Emeritus Professor of Education and Physical Education, University of Massachusetts. Dr. Locke will provide information on "Learning from Buddha: Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path to Enlightenment in Teacher Preparation." |
