Sport Management Curriculum: Where Should We Fill in the Gaps?
The first topic will address the status of the internationalization of Sport Management curricula in the United States. Administrators expressed a lack of attention to internationalization in university and college programs regarding preparation of students for the 21st century. The study describes and explores the emerging phenomenon of students studying abroad and the wide range of added value to their overall undergraduate education. The second topic will address the current trends in community colleges, resources, staffing and curriculum shifts in the area of physical education, exercise science and sport. What role can the community college play in preparing communmity college students to the expanding field of sport management?.
