| Empowering Young Children Through Movement Development |
| New intervention principles for improvement in
motor development of preschool children will be
introduced with emphasis placed on muscle tone,
balance and control. A task analysis approach
will be presented for developing power utilizing
measurable increases in pre-jumping and jumping
skills (plyometrics) to improve strength and speed of movement. Empowerment of the child through successful movement will be stressed. |
