MASSPEC Day: Beginning Golf Teaching Strategies K-12 |
This session will present strategies to teach a unit in beginning golf. The purpose is to assist practitioners in the public schools (K-12) with equipment, instructional aids and suplies, and terminology for implementation in classes at different levels. Attendees will have access to needed sources for teaching a beginning golf unit regardless of the age, level, or ability of their students. Most PE teachers omit this complex sport due to lack of knowledge, expertise, equipment, or resources. Hopefully, more children will have an opportunity to learn this great lifetime sport at an early age. |
