Progressions and Practice |
This hands-on session will focus on the development of effective skill progressions and expose practitioners to numerous motor learning concepts that underlie their design. Questions such as when and how to break down a skill, how to appropriately sequence tasks and what factors can be manipulated to modify task complexity will be addressed. In addition, participants will be guided through several examples of progressions during which various underlying concepts will be highlighted. The session will culminate with small group discussions whereby participants will have an opportunity to apply what they have learned. |
