Teaching and Coaching Soccer: From Novice to Expert |
The presenters will provide a practical demonstration of drills and practices that can be used by teachers and coaches to develop and refine the soccer skills and strategies of children and youth. During the session, we will outline a systematic approach to skill and strategy acquisition starting with simple drills appropriate for novices in the beginner developmental phrase, moving to more complex drills appropriate for children in the intermediate developmental phase, and finally progressing to drills designed to refine the skills and strategies of players in the advanced developmental phrase. |
